Homeowner Insurance

Most of us would have got enough coverage homeowner insurance on our home in a mortgage, but, having a homeowner insurance that will cover for damages relating to natural disasters is more essential than we think.

One might have to endorse the existing policy with state sponsored natural disaster coverage or one can choose to have a separate policy.  Mild earthquakes can let things in your house fall off the shelf and break.  Flood can wash away your possessions and storm can throw off your dish antenna at times!

Of late I read somebody complaining that their daughter dropped the wedding ring of the mother inside the bathroom flush accidentally.  You know what? Heartening to know that that homeowner insurance did cover it for household content; however, for better coverage for such possessions it is wise to have a comprehensive pack; had there been a 22 carat chain slip in the flush things would have been worse!

Fire accidents can happen with apparently small petty events; however the destruction can run to be thousands of dollars enough to eat up your 5-year earnings in big accidents.  So, despite having an old or new house it is important to have your house insured.
